More about me...
Over the past 25 years, I have worked as a primary school and early years teacher, SENCO and Inclusion Manager. More recently, I worked for a local authority where I managed a team delivering SEND outreach support to schools and delivered training to school staff on how best to support pupils with additional learning needs.

So why this change to private teaching?
I have seen many children demotivated due to the pressures in the classroom or teaching styles that do not meet their needs.
I want to offer a space where teacher and learner can connect positively and the child sees that adult led activities and learning can be fun and enjoyable.
A 1:1 teaching session allows for attention to be on the individual, their needs and their interests, and it’s great to witness the shift, the improvement in confidence and the growing motivation that come about as a result. It is well-established in education research that only engaged learners make progress.
